A Devotee Sangat
Founding families came together to perform regular satsangs, Hanuman Chalisa paath and Ramayan readings in private homes — laying the spiritual foundation of the temple.
Shree Raghunath Temple was born out of a humble vision — a small group of devotees in the Plano area dreamed of having a dedicated home for Bhagwan Shree Ram and a spiritual resource center for the growing Hindu community of North Texas.
Through years of sangat, satsang and seva, that dream slowly took shape. What began as informal gatherings in family homes grew into regular bhajan sandhyas, then into rented community spaces for major festivals, and eventually into the permanent temple home that exists today.
Founding families came together to perform regular satsangs, Hanuman Chalisa paath and Ramayan readings in private homes — laying the spiritual foundation of the temple.
The community formalised as a non-profit religious organisation with a vision to serve Sanatan Dharma in the DFW metroplex through worship, education and seva.
The community acquired and consecrated a dedicated temple facility in Plano, Texas — the current home of daily darshan, aarti and sanskar ceremonies.
Shree Ram Parivaar, Hanuman ji, Shiv ji, Krishna, Ganesha, Balaji, Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati and other deities were installed with traditional Vedic ceremonies.
Hindi classes, yoga sessions and cultural learning programs began under the Raghukul Vidyapeeth umbrella to pass on heritage to the next generation.
A dedicated cultural hall was added to host weddings, anniversaries, kathas, bhajan sandhyas and large community gatherings.
Ongoing fundraising drives — including the Temple Dome project, Navagraha sponsorship and SRT Dhan Seva — continue to grow our facilities.
Hundreds of devotees attend weekly aartis, festivals and classes. The temple has become a true spiritual and cultural home for the Hindu community of Plano and DFW.
Continued expansion of facilities, the new dome project, more youth and cultural programs — with your continued seva and support.
The temple has been built — and continues to grow — entirely through the sangat's seva and contributions. Join us as a member, volunteer or donor.
